My collages are inspired by vintage dress patterns from the 20s to the 70s. I began collecting these packages from estate sales and junk shops, just fascinated by the glamorous lifestyle the illustrations evoke. I strive to capture that festive attitude in the life size pieces I create.

Each journal, album, or scrapbook is built by hand with found objects, archival papers, vintage car chrome, jewelry and any other cool things I manage to get my hands on! The insides are blank and waiting for you to fill with whatever: Polaroids, poems, drawings, doodles, pictures of poodles, souvenirs, signatures, sightseeing, party favors, babies, lovers, leavers, and day dream believers!

I call these cards"love notes." They are folded from a variety of decorative papers and embellished with vintage buttons. The heartshaped fold contains a blank piece of paper to be filled in with a sweet message, a bit o' money, a little trinket, or a bunch of xoxo's. For Christmas I fold them out of vintage holiday papers and embellished them with sparkling buttons, sequins, bells and beads.
